Hyacinthe and his mom say hi!
Hyacinthe has been at the medical centre Don Orione in Ouagadougou for the past year. Without you, he would have never received this chance. He is dealing with the effects of early childhood cerebral malaria – limb paresis and developmental delays. When we first brought him to the capital of Burkina Faso, he wasn’t able to move on his own at all. Today we took him to the physiotherapist overseeing his rehabilitation. The doctor reported that the boy has made even more progress. We couldn’t be happier! He still has a long road ahead until he regains full mobility. Physical therapy is tough, but Hyacinth is a fighter. He faces challenges head on and with incredible determination. Just like the Good Factory community, he never gives up. It is this amazing teamwork that allows us to achieve our goals. We’re sure this time will be no different!
