Ukraine

On the 24th of February 2022, Russia launched a military offensive into Ukraine, causing civilian casualties and destroying the country’s infrastructure. More than a quarter of the population has been forced to flee their homes. In the first few weeks, more than 4.3 million refugees fled Ukraine, and a second as many were internally displaced. It is the fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II.

The emotions that come with getting your donations into the hands of people in need in Ukraine are so great that they usually bring tears of the most sincere elation. Last week, your help reached the most needy, mainly children in several villages in the Kharkiv region.

A parcel containing food, hygiene products and the most necessary clothing becomes a clear sign to these people that someone cares about them. It shows that someone has taken the time to bring help to this particular place, to this person. In the midst of wartime destruction, it is a flashback to a previous way of life.

If you would like to bring similar joy to at least one person in the towns and villages that the Good Factory helps, visit our charity shop. Let’s show these people that they are not alone!
