Aimie came to us a week ago. He has been fighting cancer for several years. He has no family, and due to the symptoms of the disease, all his friends have turned away from him.
Skin cancer has caused Aimie’s entire body to be covered with lesions similar to those of people suffering from leprosy.
Aimie is glad he found his way to Kabuga. “Finally someone sees me and not my skin. For the first time since my illness began, I feel that someone has accepted me and wants to help, giving me everything I need at the time.”
We cannot restore Aimie’s health, but we can give him a safe home, care and friends. Everything he has lacked so much over the past years.
Thank you for enabling us to give people hope even when all things have lost meaning for them. Let’s help Aimie together! Visit GoodWorks 24/7 and fund at least one day of his stay in the hospice in Rwanda.
