Today we are going back again to Lwiątko

Ukraine

On the 24th of February 2022, Russia launched a military offensive into Ukraine, causing civilian casualties and destroying the country’s infrastructure. More than a quarter of the population has been forced to flee their homes. In the first few weeks, more than 4.3 million refugees fled Ukraine, and a second as many were internally displaced. It is the fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II.

We cannot be indifferent to the suffering of our neighbours – we immediately set out to help!

Today, we are on our way back again to Lwiątko, a small rural kindergarten in Ukraine, which has become a shelter for children evacuated from Zhytomyr at the beginning of the war. Lwiątko needs a pump for its well, as the problem of no running water is affecting it more and more. We will also take another shipment of food, kitchen equipment and spring clothes with us (the children only have winter clothes). Again, we desperately need you to join us in this relief effort!

Today marks exactly eight weeks since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We think of everyone whose whole life was turned upside down two months ago through the use of force. We continue to build a safe HOME for the children at Lwiątko! We are doing so continually, because you can’t provide a sense of security just once.

Join our urgent fundraiser and come with us to help children who have seen and suffered too much. Let’s build a safe HOME for them!

We need to dry out the buildings as quickly as possible

Urgent help for flood victims

The most vulnerable are the elderly and disabled, living in remote rural areas and small towns, where reaching them is difficult. You’ll be informed about every penny spent to help them. 100% of the funds raised will go directly towards targeted, precise aid tailored to the needs of those affected.
