Work tools

Home Village is our next project on the Greek island of Lesbos. Home Village feeds and gives work to refugees, but it also gives them something more – the feeling that they are useful, and that finally someone wants them. The residents of the island have taken a great liking to the project – teachers from local schools are asking if they can come with their students to Home Village for a tour. To make the work on the farm more and more efficient, tools are needed.

Currently, the farm is over 5 ha. There is an olive and avocado plantation, a greenhouse with a plant nursery, a vegetable garden, an enclosure for goats, geese and quail. We will be the talk of the town! We will no longer just talk about how we are turning hopelessness into hope, but will bring the best quality products (such as olive oil) to tables all over Europe, which will speak for themselves!
